RESPONSIBILITIES AND CONDITIONS
THE OWNER - You must be a current and financial member of the Range Rover Club of Australia, SA Branch to obtain Club Registration through the Club.
THE VEHICLE
AUTHORISED OFFICERS
- If your membership lapses, then so does your Club Registration.
- Your vehicle is then automatically un-registered and un-insured and must NOT be driven.
- You must provide sufficient information to the Authorised Officer to verify the bonafides of the vehicle.
- The Authorised Officer will fill out Form MR334 based on your information provided and will give the original to you.
- You can then take the form (MR334), together with your Registration Form (MR1) to any Office of Service SA Customer Service Centre for your Application to be processed.. This is at a substantially reduced rate.
- Once Registration is obtained and to drive your vehicle on the road, you will then be issued a log book for 1, 2 or 3 years for each vehicle at a cost of $5 per log Book.
- You must fill out the log Book each day the vehicle is driven with details of that trip. You may drive the vehicle interstate and for continuous days up to a maximum of 90 days per Club Membership year. You must keep the Log Book in the vehicle at all times. The Log Book is not transferable.
THE VEHICLE
- Your vehicle must be a minimum of 25 years old by date of first registration or manufacture as of the 1st January of that year.
- The Vehicle must be roadworthy when driven on the road. It may be altered or upgraded , ie, larger motor, better brakes etc, provided that any such modifications are approved by the Road Traffic Authority or in accordance with current legislation.
AUTHORISED OFFICERS
- To fill out Form MR 334 based on information provided by the Vehicle Owner and confirmation that the owner is a current financial member of the Range Rover Club. You do not need to inspect or view the vehicle but may request to do so if warranted. The responsibility for the road worthy condition of the vehicle lies with the Owner.
- On confirmation of the Registration of the Vehicle, to fill out a corresponding log Book ($5 cost), and hand to the Owner.
- To advise the Log Book Registrar of each Log Book issued, the log book number, date issued surname, vehicle make, model, year and registration number to enable the Registrar to provide an annual return to the Federation of Historic Motoring Clubs, within one month of each Club Calendar year.
